Quick Starters
Now that you've built your first template and understand the Builderius workflow, let's scale up to a complete website using Quick Starters.
A Quick Starter sets up a foundation for your site in one go - a stylesheet, header and footer, and depending on the starter, a set of templates or a full website design.
Start building faster
On your Builderius home page, find the Get Started Now section. Choose between three starters:

If you're running quick starters after doing some work, save your current work as a release before proceeding. Quick starters create a new release and will overwrite any unsaved changes. Saved releases remain untouched.
Installing a Starter
- Click the starter you want
- Read the confirmation window
- Turn on Publish if you want the starter to go live right away
- Click Import
Minimal Starter
The Minimal Starter is a small baseline: one short stylesheet, a header, a footer and a style guide page. It creates no templates.
The whole stylesheet is about 16 KB. It uses a simple system of selectors and variables, so it is short enough for you to read in full and understand every line - and everything in it works out of the box.
Built for working with AI
The Minimal Starter is made with AI in mind. Because the stylesheet is so small, an AI agent can read all of it and build with the classes and variables that really exist, instead of guessing. The CSS also carries instructions for AI in its comments.
Use the Minimal Starter when:
- You want a nearly blank start and plan to write your own styles
- You build with an AI agent, for example with Sense AI
Starter with Framework
The Starter with Framework replaces the traditional role of starter themes. It creates templates for the homepage, pages, posts and archives, with header and footer components.
Everything is styled by the Builderius CSS Framework: design tokens, color scales built from one primary color, dark mode, and utility classes.
Templates Created
After installing the starter, you'll find these templates in your templates area. They cover minimum requirements for most websites, but feel free to modify, remove, or add templates to fit your needs.
Builderius Style Guide
Open the Builderius Style Guide page to adjust global styling using selectors and CSS variables. Preview results immediately, as this page displays examples of each global style for your convenience.
Architecture Studio
Architecture Studio imports a full website design, created by Israel Reyes, a Builderius expert. It gives you a modern, complete site, similar to a traditional WordPress theme, styled with the Builderius CSS Framework. It is a great way to explore, test and customize without starting from scratch.
This starter includes demo content that may overwrite existing content. We do not recommend importing it into a site that already has content. Create a full site backup first if the site contains anything you need to keep.
